The perfect place to stay in New Orleans
by chowela
My fiance and I stayed at the Victorian House a few weeks ago during the start of "Carnival" and we loved the house! It's a beautiful, antique furnished home away from home. The courtyard area was beautiful and relaxing. Having access to the kitchen was great as well. Its also only a few blocks from Bourbon Street so most things are in walking distance. Also, only a couple of blocks from the oldest cemetery in New Orleans where Voodoo Queen Marie LaVeaux is reputedly buried. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you're stay is the best it can be. I will certainly stay there again!
Pleasantly comfortable

Very comfortable and clean antique house. The employees are very friendly and the main kitchen is well stocked. The interior courtyard is shaded, private, and relaxing.
great space, fun location, awesome deal

I stayed here on a Friday night last month and had a great time. It's a few steps away from an awesome restaurant - MeauxBar, and one of the top jazz - brass band clubs in the world - Donna's Bar and Grill. My room was sweet - with huge floor to ceiling windows that overlooked Armstrong Park, a spacious bathroom and a big comfy bed. It was like staying in a French Quarter mansion, but without any pretense.
- Pros: cool location, great space
- Cons: can't think of any
