Standard accommodations with convenient streetcar access.. The Scene
One of five Hampton Inns in the New Orleans area, this downtown branch is housed in a turn-of-the-century building. Thus it captures the character of the city with its high ceilings and spacious rooms. Conventioneers will appreciate its proximity to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, and partiers needn't walk far to reach the head of Bourbon Street.

The Details
Freebies include local calls, incoming faxes and dining advice from the concierge. New Orleans is full of terrific food, and many of its most talented chefs cook in restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. Laundry services, meeting spaces and daily tours of the city and its environs are also available, though at a cost. Many rooms have great city views; all have cable television and either one king bed or two doubles. A hot breakfast buffet is spread out downstairs in the Carondelet Club every morning.

Nice Location. We stayed in this hotel for four days. The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable, the service great. Rooms are nice and clean. Overall, great value for the price. They do not have good facilities for internet use. That was really my only complaint. Oh, they could use refrigerators in the rooms.

Great Location & Hotel!. I stayed here for 4 night and it was great. It is only a few blocks from Bourbon and everything else is in walking distance. It was clean and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. On top of it there is a free breakfast in the morning from 6-10.

Only downside was the neighbors kept slamming there door.

A good stay that is close to everything. Not loud very good security measures.

10. My son and I stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend. We were welcomed quickly to a spacious room with all the creature comforts of home. As the hotel is so centrally located, we were able to see almost everything we had planned to see in this short period of time. The staff at the hotel was very helpful with the provision of directions for walking tours and trolley stops. They also stored our luggage after we had checked out, enabling us to see the Beauregard-Keyes House and finish some last minute tourism. We had our car still safely in the parking lot as well. I'd stay there again any time!
