Great Italian Food, and this is from a New Yorker. We had a great dining experience, but we did have trouble getting a waiter. The place, to its credit, was busy - and as someone in the food industry, I understand. I suggest you try it out

Addicting!. I have been going to Vincent's for years and EVERYTHING on the menu is Fantastic. Must try the Parmesean Crusted Chicken Breast, Stuffed Chicken, Eggplant Sticks, Veal Parmesean, and last but not least the Bread Pudding! Would go there for lunch and dinner everyday and prices are resonable considering the quality.

Fantastic nieghborhood place for Italian!. Just went there for dinner last Friday (November 2006) and really enjoyed the food. I had a plain pasta dish with was perfectly cooked and seasoned and my date had a parmesan chicken dish which was amazing! The parmesan chicken is breaded with actual parmesan cheese instead of just breadcrumbs and the chicken is all white meat and tender. Service was great, did wish they had a better selection of non-alcoholic drinks but will go there again any day. We found parking at about 6pm on Friday on a side street.

World class veal dishes. A small neighborhood place the locals love, but dont worry. You will be treated like a long lost friend the first time you walk in. The food is wonderful and the staff is quite friendly and helpful. Parking IS a problem but where isn't it in New Orleans? The review by suechef is WAY off base.

Food writer's opinion. Thank God I don't have to write a review about this place, it stinks. They are always out of veal (most of their signature dishes require it). The place is always smoky. It's the kind of place your grandparents would go to. The decor is 1980's pre-Sopranos and the help is inept. They are trying to pass off spaghetti noodles as angel hair and the sauces are always broken. Vincent's is past it's prime, there are so many other places to get a better deal for your dollar.

My Favorite Place. I was in New Orleans for my birthday and the place I chose to go was Vincent's. I found this place five years ago and make it a point to go there everytime I'm in town. The food is excellent (my personal favorite is the Veal Roberto) and the service personal. Very relaxed, intimate, and comfortable. I could almost move to New Orleans just to be able to go here every week.

Great Italian Food. Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. You may have to park a block or so away but the short walk is well worth it. Theres not many places left where you get a thank you and a handshake after dinner.

Vincent's Italian Cuisine. Vincent's Italian Cuisine is the best place to eat in New Orleans. It may be expensive but you gat what you pay for it is not one of those places where you pay alot of money and you don't gey what you pay for. Here you can eat off of one meal for 3 to 4 days and then you may even have some left overs for someone else if you don't want to eat anymore.
