Victoria's & Angelique's the best

Love love love this store. Has been around since I graduated Tulane. (early 90's). Just keeps getting better. Go hang try on shoes and tops, them grab a coffee from across the street. The clothes and shoes seem to complement each other. Great neighborhood, and the street has a lot to offer also. Now that our Trolly is back!! uptown we go.

• Pros: Fun place and great shopping
• Cons: I can't seem to leave without spending money

This place is run by dishonest thieves. I used to be one of their vendors meaning they ordered goods recevied the goods and never paid for them. I would never suggest anyone shop from such crooks.

The Scene
Intimate: Victoria's has the vibe of a neighborhood haunt. The shoppers here are regulars who know their labels and their salespeople on a first-name basis. They don't leave empty-handed, and after fingering the manicured racks of high-end women's fashions, you probably won't either.

The Goods
Big names--on the racks and eyeing them. Lauren Hutton and Brandy are regulars at the store's French Quarter location. This Uptown outpost also stocks shoes and casual clothing by Jimmy Choo, Poleci, Theory and Costume National. Not exactly fertile ground for the bargain shopper, but more mainstream lines by Charles David and Free People also are represented, if not in abundance. Those labels won't leave a gaping hole in the pocketbook, and you can still say, "I got it at Victoria's."
