I have traveled to the great city of New Orleans since 1994. It has honestly changed my life-my outlook, my perspective, my heart. The Pirate has been a part of that since day one. Big Al Carson is a must see as he engages the crowd so very well. The talent this club draws is excellent-as most clubs in the Quarter-but dont miss this place. You will not regret it, I promise. Hope to see you there! I'm the long-hair Al is teasing.

Great place - a must do for tourists and locals. Big Al Carson is a supreme entertainer. His rapport with the crowd makes this the most fun you can have in a New Orleans Blues Bar. The staff are attentive and you'll never find yourself waiting for your drink .
Pros: great music, competitive pricing, friendly staff
