It's hard to find Indian food in the south, but they have a great selection between the menu and the buffet if you want to try more items. The staff isn't exactly friendly or sociable, and you usually need to flag them down when you need something. But their food is excellent, and the location is great.

  • Pros: good food, vegetarian options, good for large groups, good prices
  • Cons: dated interior, street parking is hard to find, staff isn't great

Excellent Indian food. Luncheon buffet as well on Sunday and Thursday evenings. A full menu is always available. Cold table has salad greens, vegetables, condiments, fruit and rice pudding. Hot table has rice, chicken dishes and vegetable dishes. The actual dishes change daily. Closed Mondays.

Good ambience. Very passable food. good service -- Maybe 2 years ago in the area, this place would have been unique. Today there are not soooo many excellent and cheap places in the area that this place almost feels. Food is very good for the money charged. Decent ambience. great service. There are not so many cheaper and better Indian restaurants close by.

  • Pros: cook is american
  • Cons: close at 10 pm

I once ordered some 40 somosas here for a class project. It was cheap, the sources were hot and spicy and savory. The buffet is just as great and the prices are decent. It has good seating arrangements and relatively decent parking options.

This is the spot. There were a couple of restaurants I NEEDED to open after Hurricane Katrina and this was at the top of my list. Buffet is always plentiful, delicious, hot (temperature and some spicy dishes) with a wide selection to choose from. Service has always been great. We try to have lunch there once a week at least. Try a mango fruit drink, even though it'll set you back about $3.

  • Pros: inexpensive, seating-in & outside
  • Cons: parking in rear
