It's definitely a good burger if your in that part of town, but go just a little further to Beach Corner or further still to Port of Call for the 2 best burgers in town.

We were driving from Florida to Texas and stopped in Covington, LA looking for a Subway. We stumbled upon Lee's and what a delight! This was the best burger I ever ate. The bun was soft and fresh, the meat melted in my mouth. The grilled onions gave the burger a wonderful flavor. I had mine dressed with lettuce and tomato. I strongly recommend Lee's. It's worth going out of your way for.
- Pros: Best Hamburger
- Cons: Not located in my town

Great neighborhood burger joint with a dine in are and a drive thru. You get a far better burger for about the same price as you would pay in a fast food joint.

I come to town about 3-4 times a year. I travel all over the country and eat at many different types of places. Their burger is fresh and delicious. It's like a meatloaf on a bun that melts in your mouth. I've eaten at a couple of other hamburger places that claim to be the best in town in New Orleans. There is none better than Lee's!
- Pros: Best burger in the country, friendly service
- Cons: none

I love Lee's Hamburgers! They melt in your mouth and I love that they put onions in the meat and they use shredded cheese. These are one of the freshest burgers I've ever had, especially considering the fact that I don't have to wait over half an hour for a waitress to bring it out to the table! If only I could convince them to open a Lee's on the Mississippi Gulf Coast so I wouldn't have to drive as far!
Fresh, Fresh, Fresh!

Where else can you go and get a burger that is prepared fresh!!!!! They grind their own meat and you can tell when it crumbles in your mouth at the first bite. The service for a hot burger right off the grill is like no other fast food restaurant. Keep in mind when you enter this family run hamburger restaurant, its like no other "fast food" place. It has long been compared with greats that are dine in restaurants. OH and the onion rings, hand battered. Lee's is the best in my book!
- Pros: Great food, fast service, friendly service
- Cons: None
A longtime local favorite with a retro feel and an affinity for onions.

The Scene
Predominantly suburban, blue-collar and family-oriented. Checkered tablecloths and a series of framed posters contribute to an inconsistent diner-like atmosphere, accented by a self-starting jukebox (packed with '50s hits) and a counter/bar with red vinyl stools that runs against one wall. A narrow walkway leading to the order counter can make for long waits and often makes the place seem more crowded than it really is.
The Food
Lee's signature burger comes two ways: the "original" and the "works," the latter heaped with extra fixings. Both feature chopped onions cooked into the patty, adding immeasurably to their flavor (even though they don't get a chance to caramelize fully). Grilled chicken and catfish sandwiches are also sturdy, but the burgers are the draw. Perfectly sized fries and agreeably greasy onion rings complete a limited but satisfying menu.
Should be NUMBER 1!!

Lee's has the best hamburger's in the world, not to mention cheese fries!! For someone who detests mayonaise like I do in a world full of mayo lovers it is like my dream has come true, I don't have to check my food before I walk out the door because I know it is always going to be right, simply because a man had very good taste in food!
- Pros: GREAT, Cheap, NO Mayonaise
- Cons: NONE, NONE, NONE

I love the way that the owner of Lee's Hambrugers hand make the hamburgers while you watch. I like knowing that they are using fresh ground meat and not prepared hamburger patties. And the atmosphere is always friendly.
- Pros: fresh products
