I was extremely impressed by every single point of comparison Egan Medical had to offer relative to other similar companies. I got the same rollator for half what the local medical supply store wanted, I received it within 3 days of purchase and the gentleman was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and helping me place my order by phone (I'm a bit too old to be ordering things over the computer...)
All in all, I give them an A+++ and 5-Star rating!
USE any other company. These people are
rude and unconscionable. They falsely advertise items and refuse to take them back. What they are doing is immoral!
The products I ordered from Egan arrived and are NOT as described. The products were packaged in such a way I had to commpletely destroy the box to unpack them. I phoned to schedule a return and repeatedly got a recorded message to either send email or phone back. I did both and got no response.
I phoned again did not get an answer to my email. I kept phoning and finally spoke to “Peter”. Peter told me to have a nice day and deliberately hung up the phone. How do I know it was deliberate? Peter did not answer my email or phone me back to apologize for the dropped call. In fact Peter did not answer further phone call attempts I made.
I can’t believe how rudely I was treated by what I thought was a reputable company. This should have been a simple return. I phoned a different number and spoke with an operator who said she would put me in touch with the owner. One would think the owner of this company would care how it is being run!
The owner of this company also cannot be bothered to communicate with me. I have been “waiting for this call all day” and he told the phone operator to tell me he was going to phone me in an hour ((days ago)). Do yourself a favor and rethink doing business with this company.
Egan Medical is a division of Egan hospice and homecare services. Being so rude over what should have been a simple return sends what I would believe the owner would agree is the WRONG message to customers. WOW can you believe that they hire such offensive people to deal with the public? Would I put my mother in their care?? Would you????
