Great Service

I usually have my repair work performed at the Metairie AAMCO but I was in Slidell and needed an oil change. So I stopped by the AAMCO on Old Spainish Trail and as the shop in Metaire, the work was performed flawlessly. I feel better knowing that I have trained mechanics working on my truck not a minimum wage rookie tech. Just me, but I appreciate a true professional.
Green Liquid Under My Car
by vickysh at Citysearch
I went out to my 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis Saturday and noticed green fluid under the car on the drive way. My dad recommended me to go and see Paul at Aamco on Old Spainish Trail. I brought my car there and Paul looked at it immediately. When he came back he said I had a bad hose. Paul then took me out to my car and showed me the bad hose on the car. He then promised that he could have my car fixed in about an hour. True to his word, I was starting my car and on the way home within 55 mins. The biggest delay was waiting on the hose from the parts guy. I didn't know that Aamco worked on more than transmissions but I will only let the guys at Aamco work on my car in the future.
Feels like home

I have been to this AAMCO several times so I thought I need to post an update on the service. I went into the shop needing an oil change. While I waited for oil change to be done, I listen to the owner and his guys joke back and forth about different things. It was all professional but it is nice to go to a place where everyone seems happy. As far as the craftsmanship, as always, top notch.
Another Great Job

I was driving my wife's 2004 Suburban in Slidell yesterday when I noticed that when I hit the brakes the car pulled left. I stopped in AAMCO Slidell (I usually go the AAMCO on Hickory Ave) to have my car checked out. Erin, the girl behind the desk explained that I needed front brake pad. I then gave them permission to fix my wife's truck. The truck was fixed with an hour and I was on the way home. Thanks again AAMCO for the great work.
I love these guys

I have a 1999 Taurus that my sister gave me. The car only has 66,000 miles on it. Well I was on the way to a gig (job) in New Orleans where I broke down on I-10. The car just stopped moving, it would not go forward or backwards. I called my sister who recommended Paul at AAMCO. Her and her husband had a car that they had fixed there and were really happy.I called the shop and they had a tow truck pick me up. Within an hour I was at the AAMCO shop. They told me that they thought my torke converter was broke and they could have me fixed and on the road by the next day. As promised, I had my car fixed below there estimate ($1150) and on time. I love these guys
