THEY WILL SCAM THEY WILL STEAL. Can I have a minus 1000 stars option??? I moved from NYC to Nola and secured the apartment via telephone and email. I mailed in a "Money order" since they said they did not even accept certified checks. I have ALWAYS written checks for my apartments. This should have been my 1st clue as to the fraudulent behaviour of this company. When I arrived- they told me the unit I had requested was "NOT AVAILABLE" ??? WHAT WERE THEY HOLDING MY DEPOSIT FOR??? I asked for all my money back and they refused telling me that all they could do was give me a unit at another location. I will not have enough time to get into that horror. Eventually, I was moved to the location I 1st requested. The lease has hidden clauses- a $250 ADMIN FEE in the 'damages section' - a 70 day written notice clause... which I gave and they claim I did not... in short- A MISERABLE UNIT FULL OF ROACHES- CRIMINALS- PROSTITUTES and they will NEVER GIVE YOU YOUR DEPOSIT BACK- My advice- find somewhere else to live...
