Great Service, great price. Came from New York City where there are plenty of hairdressers to pick from and hands down had the best highlights and bang trim at Rocket Science Salon. The price was great, Savannah was helpful and competent. Will wait till I am back in New Orleans to get my hair done again!

Perfection!. A friend I work with referred me to Dara over at Rocket Science after I fell in love with her own hair. The salon was on top of a cool frenchmen bar (no downside, I assure you) and dara's spot even had a neat window seat overlooking the street. I got highlights and a much needed cut, and I've never had such a nice enthusiastic person do my hair. It looks so perfect, like just what I imagined it! Anyone looking for an easy to talk to stylist that can color and cut should go see dara at rocket science!

Best money I've spent to look good. Savannah has got the right attitude and creativity to make any customer look great.

I had the works done on my hair: color, highlights, cut, etc. Because I didn't ask ahead of time about the cost (dumb me) I was a bit surprised at my total. However, all my friends told me that it LOOKED like I spent alot of money on a good haircut and color. Now that's what I want to hear! The old adage rings true for me, "You usually get what you pay for"-especially in fashion! Compared to the other high end priced salons in the area (where my friends and family go), Savannah gives you your money's worth in style and customer service. I highly recommend her.

Querky place with great taste!. First time trying to find a salon in New Orleans and I stumbled upon this salon online. It was the best find I could have asked for! Agnes was fantastic and cut my hair exactly like I wanted it! I cut about 10 inches off my head, so this was no simple trim. It's not easy to trust someone new with a major cut like that, but Agnes and Savannah put me at great ease and definitely followed through! I recommend Rocket Science to anyone looking for a trim, a major change, or coloring. They were great!

World's Best Colorist!. I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania most of the time. However, I never let anyone color my hair but Savannah! I am patiently holding out until Mardi Gras to get my hair done because I refuse to allow anyone else near my hair. I have had my hair colored in many major cities all over the world and Savannah Blue is hands down the very best colorist! I love her shop and the people that work there. A great place that I highly recommend - just be sure you leave me a few hours around Mardi Gras to get my hair done...

Best Salon in New Orleans!. I have moved around a lot because of my job. The worst part about moving for me has always been finding a decent salon and getting good haircuts every time.

I went to a ritzy salon in the quarter and was satisfied, but not wowed. Someone on LiveJournal suggested I check out Savannah Blue's place- best idea ever!

The salon is perfectly located on Frenchmen street and is well decorated and comfortable- not stuff and pristegeous like a lot of other places here in town.

Agnes has skillfully tamed my cowlicks and bad dye jobs. I love going to the salon because its a fun atmosphere and I always leave looking great.

Don't waste your time anywhere- go to Rocket Science, ask for Agnes and leave happy!

Great Hair. My whole family goes to Dara at Rocket Science. I am not very talented when it comes to styling my own hair but she cuts my hair and shows me what to do so I can even do it myself. My mom also goes to Dara, and my mom is very hard to please. Very cool atmosphere, Everyone is super nice and you just feel welcomed.

Rocket Sciene Rocks!. Rocket Science's owner, Savannah Blue, has been cutting and highlighting my hair for five years now. I've gone to Savannah at 4 different salons because I won't let anyone else touch my hair. First off, my hair has a tendency to turn orange or brassy when colored, but Savannah always mixes the perfect color to get it just the right shade of blonde. Also, Savannah's cuts are great. She always listens to what I want and delivers a perfect result. As another reviewer here remarked, it's true that her cuts are long lasting, even on my long hair.

In addition to Savannah's skills, Rocket Science is a great salon. The space is funky and cool, the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the conversation is always amusing. No "hair snobs" here. There's also plenty of street parking on or right off of Frenchmen.

I give Rocket Science my highest recommendation and suggest an appointment even if you don't live in the neighborhood. I live in Uptown, near the universities, and there are plenty of hair salons in my neighborhood. But an appointment at Rocket Science is well worth the trip.

Never getting a haircut anywhere else!. Its hard for me to find a barber that can cut my hair the way I want it done. Some friends recommended I go see Savannah at this salon. I'm glad I followed their advice. The place is cool looking and the stylists are not snooty or pretentious. Savannah made sure she understood everything I wanted and did a great job. I am now a loyal customer and will never allow anyone else to touch my hair.

Great haircut, friendly ladies!. I found this salon based on citysearch reviews, and decided to give it a shot. The online appointment system was easy and very fast to get setup on, and lets you select a time and stylist; even tells you how long to expect the service to take.

I came in with an idea and some pictures, and left with exactly what I wanted. Savannah took plenty of time to discuss what I wanted, including how I styled it usually and my expectations as far as length/layers/bangs. The cut turned out great! I'm new in town and found the salon to be very friendly, bright and clean. Would recommend Rocket Science to anyone, and I'll be back!
