Pick this place instead of Bubba Gumps.. The seafood here actually tastes fresh and like it came from the sea. It’s well seasoned, well cooked and with quality ingredients. A step above the rest.
Love the Brunch, the Ambiance, and the Bloody Mary. Awesome Brunch, lovely courtyard authentic French Quarter and best Bloody Mary in the city!!!!!
Best Brunch!. We loved this place. Gorgeous court yard, excellent service, and outstanding food. Super reasonably priced, especially if you don't order alcohol. One of our favorites!
This romantic restaurant is quietly tucked away in the French Quarter and serves gourmet entrees by candlelight..
In Short
It seems out of place at first in the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter. Walking through the gate into a large tree-covered courtyard, the street noise disappears and is
replaced with the sound of a fountain and sometimes soft live music. Each table is candlelit and secluded, with places to sit outside and on both floors of the building. The small menu boasts sautéed chicken, filet mignon and roasted duck, served alongside at least two fresh sides. The restaurant also features a full bar for those who like to have a drink while waiting on an order.…
Romance in the middle of the French Quarter. We stumbled upon this restaurant while we were walking around one day, and immediately made reservations for the next night. The restaurant is run out of a historic carriage house, with the kitchen located on the second floor. I recommend eating in the courtyard, weather permitting. The candlelit courtyard has tables scattered among the vegetation, so you can sit 7 feet away from the next table, yet feel completely secluded. The staff is extremely friendly, the ambience was incredible and the food was delicious. We had a mixed berry cobbler for dessert, and it was amazing. The menu is a bit limited, but only because the restaurant focuses on using fresh, local ingredients. They had live music the night we went, and the sound level was perfect - loud enough to hear, but not so loud that it intruded on our conversation - a rarety in the French Quarter, where every other restaurant seemed to have the music blasting at ridiculous levels.…
