Horrible Horrible! Everything and everyone that has anything to do with this place are the worst! From service, to the nasty talking, illiterate speaking, rude, dishonest, threatening, and uneducated service rep's they have! I have NEVER and will NEVER deal with this place again. I agree wholeheartedly, this place needs to be SHUT DOWN. Better yet, I think we need to band together and file a Class Action Law Suit against the place!

Stay away from this terrible ma and pa style bank with their bush league tactics. They wont even give you your payoff unless you answer 21 questions and that you are current on your payment. Trading in the vehicle and getting a new vehicle and a new bank to deal with. Having a party to celebrate. What kind of BBB let this place stay in business. So one please shut them down.

This Bank should be shut down!.....I was put in jail by a Judge that could not believe it took me 175 days to get a lien release from this Bank. They could not give me a payoff. I cashed in my extended warranty the same month I got the car loan. It was $2500. of which I had paid in cash with a downpayment of $6750. All I got was $510. of that money and I DID NOT EVEN GET CREDIT FOR THE $510, BASICALLY THE BANK NEVER EVEN APPLIED IT TO MY LOAN BALANCE! They reported me late, on my credit report even after I sent it more than the balance was of $150, because that is how much they charge you if you payoff your loan early. I have just lived thru a nightmare! If you do not want this to happen to you then I urge you to stay away from this bank!

I got a few months behind due to loss of job and they repoed my car 4 days before i got money to pay everything and i didnt receive a notice in the mail about it until a week later. They screwed me out of money for storage by ignoring my calls friday when i was trying to get the car. made me pay for the weekend. monday she wont return my call or answer and i keep getting hung up on. They need to treat their customers better. THEY DONT ANSWER PHONES AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BULLSH*T!

Incredibly frustrating employees. I have had my car loan with Crescent Bank since June, 2010. I got a call from a woman in January 2012 telling me that my payment was not received. I checked my bank account and called her back to tell her that the check had cleared.. I have never been late on a payment and I even document the date that I mail my payments. She wasn't able to explain what happened, but assured me that everything was okay with my account. Of course, she didn't apologize.

On March 13, 2012 I had a message on my phone from a guy named Victor. I called back and got a lady that informed me that my March payment has not been received. Same as January, the check had already cleared my bank. So, then she said that it was actually February that was missing. Knowing that this check had cleared as well, I asked to speak to her supervisor. She transferred me to "my account rep" who was unable to help me so I talked to another lady that told me that I wasn't late on my payments at all, but my payments are being applied to "misc charges" that I owe. I asked her what these charges are and she couldn't tell me. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she put me on hold for 10 minutes before the call was disconnected. When I called back, I got another lady who was unbelievably rude! She told me that they mailed a letter to me about my misc charges and when I told her that I had not received anything in the mail from them and I need to know what these charges are, again asked to speak to a supervisor, but she went on to tell me that it isn't her fault that I didn't answer calls from them or open my mail. I asked her for the dates that they had attempted to call me and the date that this supposed letter was mailed and she told me that I was being rude and hung up on me.

I am very concerned that this company is shady and I am waiting on my attorney to call me back to tell me where to do from here.

I hate this bank. I am so confused, I asked these people eight months ago how much did I owe on my car and they told me 5,400. Please tell me why eight months later I ask the same question and they tell me 5,379. I dont understand.......?????? These people are total rip offs! They are rude!!! The only one that I will deal with is Candace Ayers in the VA office she is very nice and respectable! 5 stars to you Candace!!!!!!!

Crescent Bank- Manager's. I agree the same happened to me. I got behind 1 payment and tried to get the mto add it to the back of the loan, they informed me they could not do that. I got behind again and tried to call and set up payment arrangements with my rep a lady grabs the phone and starts telling me how she is the manager and she does not care what the gentleman told me that we had no deal, that either I pay my payments by 5 or she was taking my car. I was only asking for another week to make 3 payments not just 1. She told me NO. I put her on hold to try to borrow the money because she said I only had til 5 o'clock to make my payment and it did not matter that I could make a payment in another week. Then on hold she gave me back to the original guy and he asked if I was still on for the payment arrangement he and I agreeed too. I started crying and said no, she wanted today or not at all. Very unprofessional, disresepctful and does not know how to treat customers. I have sealt a lot with people from LA and never been treated so badly in all my life. I would recommend Lendmark Financial or some other bank options before ever dealing with this company again. SORRY, SORRY Customer service in my opinion.

Crescent Bank - it is what you make it..... I financed a car with Crescent Bank 3 years ago. I have horrible credit and they were literally the ONLY bank who would finance me. I had to pay a lot of interest (21%) and yes, when I was late with payments, they were calling every day, and very pushy about getting their money (Not to mention, the extra interest and fees I had to pay for being late was insane).

But it was THEIR money, so really, as frustrating as it was for me at the time, they were right and I was wrong.

The fact is, they're a sub-prime lender. That means, they finance loans for people with awful credit, knowing they're going to have late pays, repos, etc. I'm sure the people in the call centers probably do get tired of hearing constant excuses and having to call begging for money day in an day out. I've been so mad at them I could scream before, when they were rude to me. But in hindsight, I deserved it for not paying on the day I was supposed to pay.

Anyway, long story short, I lost my job, fell behind, and needed a smaller car payment. I was honest with them and they allowed me to defer one payment to the end of my loan to help catch me up. I still couldn't swing the payments so I went to the dealer and tried to trade my car in for one that was less expensive. With my job situation and recent payment history, there wasn't another bank that would touch me.

But guess what? Crescent came through for me. They could have chosen to repossess my car and leave me stranded, but they didn't. Instead, they approved a new loan so I could trade my car in for something less expensive and now my monthly payment is $125 LESS each month.

So yes, if you make your payment late they're going to harass you about it. And if you refuse to pay at all, they'll come get your car. But if you're honest and do the best you can, and admit when you just can't do it any more, they're fair and will help any way they can - but you have to be willing to make some sacrifices too (like trading for a cheaper car or paying more interest/fees). Just my 2 cents worth. :)
