A mall that is as fun and functional as the city itself.. The Scene
For more than a decade, Riverwalk has offered unique shopping and entertainment on the Mississippi riverfront. An amalgam of national retailers and regional mom-and-pop outfits, the mall is a viable shopping mecca for locals and visitors to the city with over 130 stores, kiosks and restaurants. Spanish Plaza, with its colorfully tiled fountain, is the single most recognizable feature of Riverwalk, offering a good meeting or resting spot right outside the main entrance.

The Goods
Despite its tourist bent--including a roving jazz band, a proliferation of New Orleans-based eateries and an annex to the Hilton Riverside--the mall's diverse selection of shops, like Sharper Image, the Discovery Channel Store, the Cookin' Cajun Cooking School and the peerless Kites, Tails & Toys, sets it apart from suburban shopping centers.
