Perfect Honeymoon. We just returned from the Grand Victorian B&B. (June 2009). We chose it for our honeymoon and couldn't have made a better choice! The location is great, right across the street from a street car stop. Bonnie, the innkeeper, is so kind and helpful! She made sure our stay was great. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was big enough for four people! I can't say enough about this place. I can't wait to go back!!

Travel back in time to 1893 at this turn-of-the-century B&B.. The Scene
Take one look at the sleepy Southern porch, red velvet love seats, mirrored armoires and chandeliers, and you'll have no question as to why children under 12 are discouraged here. The setting recalls the days when a parlor was a parlor and a mint julep was an early afternoon drink.

The Details
Guests may take breakfast in the sunny dining room or out on the porch with a view down the oak-lined avenue. Each room is named after a historical Louisiana Plantation and feature individual temperature controls (a must during the sweltering summer months), telephones, cable televisions and whirlpool tubs. Ask the staff for help in arranging swamp tours, walks through the historic Garden District or trips down to the old plantations on River Road.
