Editorial Review for Les Carillons – by Gayot.com

The Scene
Even locals would be shocked to find such classy surroundings tucked into the Warehouse District. This neighborhood has recently become known for its modish style but not necessarily for its elegance. Breakfast at this B&B takes place at a long table set with fresh flowers in the second-floor salon. This is also the setting for regular evening social hours over wine and cheese.

The Details
The owners are authorized by the State of Louisiana to officiate weddings, and the setting is ripe for such occasions. Ceremonies often take place in the parlor or the courtyard, and the lodging options include townhouses that can accommodate families. All the rooms are furnished with 19th-century antiques and open onto an enclosed garden patio with a pool and whirlpool. Cable TV, voice mail, in-room fax and modem lines and full baths round out the amenities.
