What sets this hotel apart is that its spa is overseen by professional athletic trainer Mackie Shilstone-his clients have included boxing great George Foreman and baseball star Ozzie Smith. Shilstone makes sure the in-house trainers, aerobics instructors and masseurs meet his exacting standards. The massages, facials and whirlpools provide serious pampering. Local residents often rate the spa as the city's best.

Outside the spa, you can enjoy a heated pool on the sun deck or head for the rooftop to relax in the Jacuzzi and gaze at the city skyline. All 256 rooms qualify as suites.
