This bookstore attracts Anne Rice fans looking for signed copies and special editions.. The Scene
Book-cover posters (mostly of the vampire variety) dominate the landscape here. There's also an ample supply of fiction and nonfiction works, pricey out-of-print books and autographed copies of works by writers such as Anita Shreve, Jerry Jeff Walker and Andrei Codrescu.

The Goods
Great regional cookbooks, including an unusual collection of recipes titled "Swamp Cooking With the River People." The bookshop's in an old Prytania Street skating rink that has been converted into a cavernous and historic shopping center. You can get Anne Rice T-shirts here and catch occasional book-signings by the shop's famous neighbor.
