In Short
Because of its downtown location, deVille lacks some of the neighborhood charm of other New Orleans independents. Yet the location draws inquisitive tourists, who routinely wander in asking for books on voodoo and cemetery tours. The best selection of jazz and blues titles in the city, including a pictorial history of Jazz Fest and the "Down Home Guide to the Blues." For those ramping up on the local music scene, "Jazz for Dummies" will clue you in on the basics.

Deville Books carrys a wide range of books such as literature like Henry Miller to books about New Orleans, Cajuns, & Voodoo. Plus many of the books are by renown Louisiana authors. They do handle prints framed and unframed as well. And they are handicapped accessible.
