All of our metal casting figures are hand painted by local New Orleans artists.

Le Petit Soldier Shop is more than just a toy store. It maintains an extensive display of toy soldiers both antique and modern models that are hand painted, in addition to exhibits of beautifully crafted battle scenes. The centerpiece of the store is the infamous Battle of New Orleans, completed with a landscape that includes the river. The shop in many ways is a little museum. In well organized glass cases you can peruse antique guns, medals, caps, and documents from battles as far back in history as the Revolutionary War and as recent as the Korean War. Letters from Germans are accompanied with translations, contracts initiating the sale of a group of slaves, and other interesting artifacts can make a trip to Le Petit Soldier Shop a timely excursion.
