Great Atmosphere!. My first trip to NOLA and this was the first place we stopped on Bourbon St. It was on a Sunday during the Saints vs. Texans, so the atmosphere was full of New Orleans flavor! The beer is a little pricey ($6) but as is everything else on Bourbon St. This place seemed like it was for the older crowd, but we met some great people in there and still enjoyed it.
Mango Tango plays the best reggae music!!!!. If you walk down Bourbon St. Mango Tango's music will pull you in! The play the best reggae music. Stick around b/c every 4 hours or so you will get a 'Diamond Girl.' Drinks are a little expensive but the atmosphere is amazing...not too dark, not too bright. The bartenders always have a huge smile on their face & are very chatty. If you are hungry I highly recommend a slice of pepperoni & mushroom pizza, although it does "cost to much at." If you are thirsty, I'd go with the '241 Anti-Freeze' (1/2 151 Pina Colada 1/2 190 Anti-Freeze). The bathrooms are always clean & are open to all customers.
