Great local lunch spot

Every time we're in town working a convention at the New Orleans Convention Center, we make the short walk to Deanie's for lunch. Always a great variety of local staples like red beans & rice, fried chicken, jambalaya and more. Everything is homemade and delicious. The menu specials change daily and average about $6. Portions (especially the po-boys) are generous.
