Every time we're in town working a convention at the New Orleans Convention Center, we make the short walk to Deanie's for lunch. Always a great variety of local staples like red beans & rice, fried chicken, jambalaya and more. Everything is homemade and delicious. The menu specials change daily and average about $6. Portions (especially the po-boys) are generous.

This place was awful! Theres a long wait to get in and get seated and then the food wasnt good at all. My waitress forgot about me for over an hour and didnt even apologize. They also charged me for an extra meal on accident but took it off after I mentioned it and no apology again.
