Lunch portion was good. 1st restaurant to try when I landed. Loved the fried shrimp. Seasoned just right. The homemade sauce is amazing. I am so happy that you can buy a bottle. Will be back

Go Somewhere Else. My boyfriend and I had lunch here and were a bit disappointed. The 1/2 dozen oysters we ordered for an appetizer were good, but the red beans and rice and muffaletta were sub par at best. With so many restaurants in the area, I would suggest going somewhere else.

Ok, but nothing to write home about. We went here one afternoon for a "quick" lunch as we were strolling NOLA. We split a shrimp po-boy and it was okay, but very little shrimp and sorta bland. Bfriend added cole slaw to his, which he ordered as a side dish (it had raisins in it, which sorta surprised us), but he said it made it better. I still think the best Po-Boy we had was Riverwalk food court, the little shrimps were fallin' off our po-boy there because it was so loaded and it was definitely cheaper!!! Skip Remoulade and go take a stroll at Riverwalk and eat in their food court, LOL!!

Not Worth the Cost. My friend and I went into this modest-looking restaurant thinking the food would be more reasonable and down-to-earth than the gourmet creole and cajun places around town. We were sadly mistaken. My friend paid over $13 for a dish comprised of 8 small BBQ shrimp...and that's it. No side dishes or anything. I can't remember what I ordered because it didn't make any impression upon me. I do recall that our meal cost over $33 for just 2 simple dishes. Save your money and go elsewhere.

disappointed. Visiting with a group of six, we were looking for an oyster bar that was reasonably priced and their menu looked good. We were seated in about 15 minutes (early afternoon). The waitress said that they didn't have any oysters! And she was a little arrogant about it too. Imagine that, the middle of the seafood season for oysters in New Orleans and they don't have any! We were all hungry and didn't want to wait in line somewhere else so we ordered. I love BBQ shrimp so I ordered it but wasn't overly happy with them. They were over cooked and hard to peel. The flavor was fine but the whole experience got annoying. Also, they charge for soft drink refills. Two of our group had the red beans and rice, said it would have been very bland if it hadn't had the sausage in it. Marginal at best

is this from a box?. I could have stayed home and made my entree out of a box mix. I thought you were suppose to be a spin off of a rather reputable restaurant? Please cross the street for Acme, Mother's or anything else!!
