Can't Beat the Iced Coffee. The Garden District's Still Perkin' serves the best iced coffee in town. It is cold-dripped coffee, not hot coffee poured over ice. Top it off with a bagel and cream cheese and yu have a good start to a great day.

In Short
Friendly 20-somethings serve up the usual coffee drinks in a spacious spot connected to a small posh shopping center. Inside, the two-seater tables are filled with Uptown housewives, doctors and politicos hobnobbing over espresso and scones. On the outdoor wooden deck, college students and hipsters smoke ciggies, feed birds and sip mochas and flavored teas. Other offerings include an assortment of bagels with homemade cream cheeses, cakes, salads, sandwiches, pastries, sodas, juices and lemonade.
