HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF SWISS BEFORE I COULD REMEMBER... THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! FROM THE WORKERS TO THE OWNER... ESPECIALLY HIS WIFE! LOVE THE CAKES, BUT THEY HAVE FALLEN COMPLETELY OFF OVER THE PAST YEARS. PRE KATRINA, I WOULD'VE RECOMMENDED THEM TO THE WORLD... BUT NOW I WOULDN'T EAT A PIECE OF THEIR CAKE IF THEY OFFERED IT TO ME FOR FREE. I WOULD NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MORE OF MY MONEY! AND PLEASE BELIEVE THEY DON'T CARE, BECAUSE WHEN TOLD THIS, THE OWNER'S WIFE JUST SHRUGGED HER SHOULDERS... BUT I GUESS YOU CAN HAVE THAT TYPE OF ATTITUDE WHEN YOU OWN THE BUSINESS... P.S. This company needs to update soooo much... from accepting credit cards to the design of their cakes. Nowadays ANYONE knows how to make an almond flavored cake. Step your game up & fix your attitude!

Great Flavor Leaves a Bad Taste in my Mouth. I used to love coming here for the killer cakes - I know their prices are ridiculous, but it was tradition. What frosted me (no pun intended) was the attitude of the staff working there. In this economy, if you have that horrible of customer service, do not expect to be in business much longer. I love their goodies, but the prevailing attitudes really takes the cake.

Great Cake. My daughter called me the day of her birthday.She ask did i get her a cake from swiss. I told her no. You have to order cakes in advance because they make them to order. She was really upset and hung the phone up in my face. When my daughter got home from work she smell the cake when she walked through the door that was part of her gift. Swiss cakes melts in your mouth and they are always fresh .I love swiss cake it melts like cotton candy in your mouth

Choose Another Bakery!!!!!!. Until Feb. 2011 my family and I have always gotten our cakes from Swiss. They misspelled my daughter's name on her birthday cake, after I told them how to spell it more than three times during the phone order. They corrected it with a shaky hand, totally ruining the appearance of the cake. The only thing that the associate could tell me was that he was sorry. I paid $70 for a cake that looked like I may have gotten it on a clearance sale. I asked for the owner's name and number. I was told that he/she would not speak to me, concerning the matter. I can't believe they are selling $70 birthday cakes, and will not entertain their unhappy patrons. I will never purchase as much as a muffin from Swiss again!!!!!

GREAT CAKES. They are the best cakes in the world!!!! The smell alone is intoxicating and now that I live out of state anyone coming to visit must bring me a cake I can't get enough no matter how good a cake is anywhere else I always compare to Swiss and it never stacks up.

99 problems but Swiss Ain't One. I have been purchasing cake from this bakery for years and I have never been unhappy with a cake. I agree that some of the ladies who work there have bad attitudes some days, but Mr. Bill is always pleasant. The cakes are a tradition in my family. sometimes I wish that they could do more up to date designs, but I still love the cakes.

Idiot Bakery. This is one of the few bakeries I loved in New Orleans until today. Isimply called and requested a small 9 inch round cake with pink icing with out decorations to have Happy Birhday written on top in a diffrent color. WOW is that really to much this guy went on and on about this is a first and so forth and so on. You know what step your game up Swiss you problem is your to old fashioned simply put.

Forgot to decorate wedding cake. Ordered a wedding cake with them. Overlooked the very unprofessional staff for a traditional New Orleans icon cake. Arrived at reception to stare at a wedding cake iced white with nothing else. Nothing could be done at the time....but not sure how a cake leaves the bakery without it being decorated. Not the wedding memories you look forward to having.

Awful Attitudes, Awesome Cakes. Just not friendly especially lady who may be owner. One guy who's been there is ok, but I bet pressured by owner (lady) who is unfriendly and unprofessional. Cakes are commendable because of taste no other has. I still go under crucial circumstances, very important events, but sometimes go elsewhere because of attitudes. I give a 4 for cakes, but not 5 because of unfriendliness.

Great Cakes!!!. I used Swiss for for my wedding cake and grooms cake. They were able to do exactly what i needed for the grooms cake (a sail boat) and my wedding cake was sooooo pretty! Also, the cake was baked that day and tasted so good that most guests had more than one piece!
