Great food and service. Those of you who wrote bad reviews need to get your heads examined. My husband and I live about 3 hours away and only get to N.O. once or twice a year but everytime we eat there the food is wonderful and the staff is friendly. Granted the food can be a bit bland at times (probably to cater to the "yankee" tourists who can't handle our spicy food) but it is always hot, fresh and plentiful.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!. The highlight of my trip to New Orleans was eating at Ralph Kacoo's. The food was excellent. Can't wait to get back there to get a batch of those hush puppies. The service was also excellent.

Don't Take Out. If you go to this busy restaurant do not take out. First of all there is no take out, but they forgot to explain this. Then in a rude manner they told us that take out orders were lowest priority. So instead of getting the food in 10 minutes, like we were told, we received it in 40. The food is nothing to write home about, just fried things, not much flavor. I suggest going to the gumbo shop instead and if you want something fried, try Desire restaurant on Bourbon, it has great fried catfish. This place though is definitely not worth going to.
