Delightful!. This restaurant was recommended by a local on the street, so we took his word for it. We were very pleased with the service and the entire dining experience, Our servers name was Donald and he was a pleasure. We had steak & mahi combo which was out of this world. As a appetizer I ordered Crawfish Ett. (spelling?) but it was the best taste ever, I want the recipe. The cheesecake with godiva chocolate was super and even better when I woke up to finish it at midnight. We will be back. Thank you and for any of those bad reviews, ignore, they don't know anything, or email me I will tell you the truth about Ralph & Kacoo's and so will N.O. locals.

HAD A GREAT TIME. I VISITED THE RESTAURANT ON TWO OCCASIONS AN BOTH TIMES WERE PERFECT!

MR. DONALD WAS A JEWEL AND RYAN WAS TOO! THE ATMOSHERE WAS GREAT AND THE REST OF THE STAFF MADE US FEEL AT HOME. THE MANAGER, MR. SCOTT, WAS A VERY GRACIOUS HOST!

Gone Downhill. This place was once my favorite place in the quarter, but after the storm the service and food has really gone downhill. The last straw for me was my last visit. My girlfriend and I were seated and waited twenty minutes, in that time we were given no bread and THEY DID NOT EVEN TAKE OUR DRINK ORDERS. I then stopped a waiter to notify them of this. WE WAITED ANOTHER TWENTY MINUTES with still NO DRINKS OR BREAD. Finally a waiter came to take our drink order, and still did not bring bread by the way. Another fifteen minutes went by and still no bread or drinks came, needless to say WE WALKED OUT. Then on top of ruining our night the manager had the nerve to call my cell, the number i made reservations with, to berate me about walking out after we had ordered our drinks. Needless to say, I informed him that if they ran a proper restaurant I would have never left, but not nearly in those nice terms. On top of all this the place was not very busy. PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. The times before this that I have went as of late, the service was also bad and portions small. Their are MANY places in the quarter with better food, better service, and for a better deal

Good Seafood. Good seafood in the Quarter. They also have good deserts. Try the Pecan with Chantilly Sauce it has bourbon in the sauce makes it great.

Enjoyable. This was the first restaurant we visited while in NOLO while we were strolling along Riverwalk and the city streets. It was good food and the service was okay, but it's still a "chain" restaurant and nothing to ooooh and awwww about. Probably wouldn't go back, but I did enjoy our visit.

Seafood Specialists. This was my first experience in fine dining in NO. Needless to say I'll be back. The food was superb. The dining room in the back had a formal but yet playful look to it with polished wood and a large aquarium to the right. This is a place that slips under most people's radar but shouldn't. Right up there with Galatoire's and Andre's.

A Louisiana chain serving up Cajun cuisine since 1969.. The Scene
This French Quarter mainstay is laid-back and informal; the cavernous space is great for groups of hearty diners or quaint enough for dinner for two. Brick walls, open beams and funky art give the place character.

The Food
It's billed as a seafood restaurant, but diners can order anything from shrimp cocktail, gumbo and turtle soup to fried alligator, grilled steak and baked ostrich. The seafood comes fried unless otherwise indicated, but it's as fresh as can be. Don't miss the homemade hush puppies and creamy coleslaw. They've embraced a welcome new trend among some New Orleans restaurants--the heart-healthy menu, which features grilled versions of seafood dishes.

I Love This Resturant. I've been to New Orleans quite a few times (I'm from New York) and I must say that I have not had a better dining experience then Ralph and Kacoo's any time I've been there. I had the Tilapia Etoufee and it was delicious. The service was wonderful, pleasant and quick. We were seated right away and the environment was nice. I look forward to returning there on my next trip.

Wonderful. I had a wonderful experience at Ralph & Kacoo's. The hostesses Iriel and Shaunta were delightful. They greeted my family and I as soon as we entered the door. They made us feel right at home. Our server Ryan C. gave us excellent service! The food was excellent! We will be back!!
