STARVING STUDENT MOVERS RIP OFF ARTIST. I was given a quote of $98 dep. & $98/hr with a 2 hr min. Which was fine since the moving job I had should only have taken 90 min....2 hrs tops. I was willing to pay $300 to avoid renting a U-haul & driving to Home Depot in hopes of finding a couple of English speaking Mexicans. I said so to Kitty, the girl taking my reservation. The two young boys doing my move stood around doing nothing more than they did any actual work! I was having to constantly ask them what are you doing? Why are you just standing here? Why aren't you working? Why should I have to pay for them doing nothing? I DO NOT LIKE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AT ALL!!! My 85 yr old arthiric uncle & his 52 yr old son moved me from Thibodaux to Jefferson much faster than these boys. Plus they had 2/3 rds more stuff to move. I was changing storage units because I was robbed! So not only did they take longer, they had far less stuff to move, in a far less distance, & they were both not only much youger but healthier yet they managed to take longer! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will rip you off!! Then when you try to write a letter of complaint to their managment, they will give you the wrong information. Oh I forgot to mention, they charged me $560! When I pitched a fit, they dropped it down to $536!!! For their laziness!!!…
St Ann Marie Antionette Hotel overcharges creditcard. When I stayed at St Ann Marie Antionette Hotel, I payed Price Line for my stay. The hotel required a credit card for incidentals. About a month after my stay my wife noticed new charges to our credit card. the hotel had charged for our 2 days again. After speaking with mgt. they agreed to refund the new charges, but instead of a refund,they charged my card again. Since then, I haven't been able to make contact, or get a call returned to me. So if anyone is planning a stay at this hotel use extreme caution. DON"T give them your credit card. (my overcharges were $340)…
