Good stay. The hotel is really gorgeous and we got a good deal. There are often good deals offered on their website. Room and bathroom is really pretty although the sound proof system is not great. Hotel staff service was outstanding. The location is convenient, only blocks away from the French Quarter. Would definitely stay there again.
Disappointed and rip off!. We paid over $200 for a suite, jacuzzi tub didn't work, CD player broken, no soap or towels in smaller bath, pillows very hard and crunch sound, Adult XXX mags stuffed in closet pillowcase, wake up calls not performed as requested, no bellman, parking service not good and $24/day. Noisy, could hear neighbor sneeze and brush teeth! Complained to Mgr and was told that the room is only good if the last guest informs desk of problems upon leaving! LAME! Never again! Beware of room 310!
SERVED ITS PURPOSE. We enjoyed our stay here! Two blocks from the French Quarter, and easy to get to. The rooms were a good size, well taken care of , and the beds were great! The hotel itself did not have a lot of "extras" (no bar, limited dining), but when you are 4 blocks from Bourbon Street, do you really need a hotel bar? The staff was very helpful. I thought it was a good value for what we payed.
Elegance without a view. This hotel was really nice and clean; lots of marble. It was elegant, but did not have that New Orleans feel (if that matters). The room was nice-sized with a great bathroom that had a large jacuzzi tub. The bath had wasted space that could have been used to make the room larger, however. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was elegant and the food was tasty. The only complaint was that our room had a window that looked out into a tiny space space that was approx. 6x6ft and was surrounded on all sides by brick walls. The only way to get out of that room in the event of a fire was to go out the window and climb the brick walls to the roof. I shudder to think what would have happened if we would have had to use that to escape a fire!
