I have been going to this Lakefront restaurant since I was little. The best breakfast around! Just recently splurged and got the Bananas Foster Waffle--- to die for but a little embarrassing when brought to the table with vanilla ice cream piled high atop an enormous waffle. If you go on the weekend go early or later in the AM or there may be a wait, usually no more than 5-10 min or so. Food is always hot, fresh and comes pretty quickly. The freshly squeezed OJ is fantastic and coffee good! They have a good breakfast selection and prices reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

I have been going to Russell's for 30 years. There is little that has changed, and it's always been great! The "Outback" restaurant used to have to give credit for where they stole the Onion Blossom recipe..... if you don't know the original came from down south by the lake not the Outback! Great soup, sandwiches, breakfast, and everything else. I just love Russell's.
Pros: lots of authentic food prepared wonderfully
Cons: sometimes you wish they had more tables
