My truck overheated dowtown, I found them in the phone book. A short time later they took my truck to their shop, I was told it was the water pump, it was repaired and I picked it up the next evening. The price was fair, the repair was promp. Mabey I was lucky, but I'm a happy customer.

Protech is a wonderful place to have your car repaired. Me and my wife about two years ago drove to new orleans from illinois in our vintage diesel mercedes. On pulling into the french quarter our car proceeded to die. The harmonic balancer had not been replaced properly by our mechanic back in illinois. We were towed to protech on the recommends of the tow truck driver, I was more than doubtful about the situation. Protech did an amazing job, they replaced the harmonic balancer quickly and professionally and the price was more than reasonable. It is not easy to find someone with the skills to work on these old mercedes diesel engines correctly and they did with flying colors. They repaired the car almost two years ago now and the car is still going strong 30,000 miles later! This is such a memorable experience for us, that even two years later I think about how great protech was. They could have taken advantage of the out of towners, but they wen't above and beyond. Thanks Protech! We are planning on making another trip down to visit in the fall and we have no worries about breaking down, knowing that protech will take care of us!

Helping Heart. Not sure who you are or what vehicle your talking about but I dont think you was talking about Pro Tech because I have never herd of this problem and as the Owner I think It would of came to me first. In the last three years I cant remember Ia problem

that wasn't adressed and solved before my Cust. left. And if it was I would love to know who.

From the time you drop off he will inform you all the

way through. You will get a full estimate before any work is performed. They also have a Discount Plan

for all you Customers without a Warranty or a Deductable that you cant afford. Give them a try you wont be Sorry!!

Bad experience for me. Unfortunately our experience with this mechanic was not good. The first time we had the car repaired, I had no worries but the car soon did the same thing again. We had it towed back and they charged us for more work, part of which was included in the first repair. The car quit again so we had it carried to another mechanic who told us it was the same problem as the prior repair. Pro Tech towed it to their shop and replaced a part that had been replaced by them in the earlier repair and charged us again. The car quit again so we had it towed to a dealer who told us the engine was shot. All of this was in the space of a few weeks.
