DAWLIN, BABY, I'M COMIN!!.
Eggs are rarely cooked right, the grits are sometimes cold. Wheat toast takes 10 minutes longer than white. Bacon is never as crispy as I like it. The waitresses are loudmouthed and scream at each other in your ear. Sometime I have to get up and get my own damn$d coffee, and I go there at least 3-4 times per week!! Love those ladies!

Essential Neighborhood Experience.
Betsy's is a great breakfast spot for Mid-City denizens looking for the close-knit camaraderie of the romanticized golden age of neighborhood diners. Betsy's isn't a diner, but a stream of jocular regulars makes for an appealing, comforting and inviting breakfast experience. The breakfast fare is filling and addictive, the coffee's hot and refilled often. Lunch items are also solid, especially the top-notch hamburger steak smothered in onions and brown gravy. There are few better neighborhood haunts.
