Truly a Treat!. What a nice surprise this place was! A small dining room in an old house, very tasteful, not at all slick. We found the service to be very friendly and felt beautifully taken care of. Food is the reason you're there, everything is prepared to order so be prepared for a leisurely experience. I had a seafood platter that knocked my socks off for an entree and a crawfish gratinee appetizer that was delicious. My wife ordered the duck and it was one of the best she's ever had. Great chocolate cake for dessert. I was with a party of 6 and we were all extremely pleased and would return in a heartbeat. Dining at Brigtsen's is a must for anyone visiting New Orleans.
