custom tailoring. Further back in the shop, Ballin's offers a varied, high-end selection of stylish business wear and fun evening clothes, which appeal to the fashion-conscious executive types and well-maintained socialites that frequent the boutique.
The Goods
Formal designs carried by the store run the gamut from classic Southern styles like Watters & Watters, Dessy and Odessa to sharp, modern formals from designers including Kay Unger, Currie Bonner and Vera Wang. Business wear includes pantsuits from Shantung in ice-cream colors. The labels represented in the shoe department are a little younger and hipper, like Hype, Via Spiga and Anne Klein.
