The Scene – Feelings Cafe maintains the homey charm of its surroundings--the main house and slave quarters of the former D'Aunoy Plantation. A large dining area just inside the restaurant harbors a warm feel, thanks to candlelit tables covered in white and low music. Exposed brick, antique mirrors and paneling polish the effect. well worth the cab ride from our canal street hotel. all positive reviews on this site for a reason. able to get an interior table at 7:30 on a saturday with little notice. service was first class, and the food wasn't far behind. xlnt wine list too. wasn't impressed with the pianobar, personally.
