Thousands of books. Just visited today for the first time on a friends recommendation and found it to be the best bookstore in the south. The polite owner's knowledge of his stock impressed me. As well as his ability to answwer every question i had across a variety of different genres. Will definitely make this a regular stop when going downtown. And such a cute doggy.

Never have I seen a place so well laid out or an inventory as large; I could spend everyday just browsing and finding every book to excite my intellect. The shop owners were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, creating a great atmosphere quite conducive to intelligent discourse. Good also for first and signed additons. A true staple of new orleans culture. Thank you for the experience.
