Avoid like the plague. You other ppl gotta be kidding. This place is absolute crap. Lifeless, boring copycat of the REAL bar across the street. They were even featured on Bar Rescue, a tv show about bars headed for bankruptcy that are owned by clueless failures, where the owners argued with the guru and changed everything back to the way they had it after he left so they could continue to lose $15K a month. Just a total piece of crap, owned and run by incompetent losers. Avoid at all costs.

Authentic Acoustic Louisiana Music on Bourbon St - WOW!. So - I am writing about the NEW Turtle Bay that opened on Bourbon St. The Decatur location is still open, but the new place is THE ONLY Bar and Restaurant on Bourbon St that is featuring Authentic, Acoustic Louisiana Roots Music! If the blaring base and ridiculously loud bands battling it out for tourists on Bourbon make you want to run for cover - then do yourself a favor and check out Turtle Bay! These guys got it right. Great bar food - the Ribeye and the BBQ Chicken Pizza are fantastic! Decent drink prices - and It's FAMILY FRIENDLY! Yep - you can bring the kiddies, get some grub, have a drink and enjoy some REAL Louisiana Music. Truman Holland and The Back Porch Review play there about 4 - 5 nights a week. It's now the only place on Bourbon Street that I will set foot in!

Great place to catch a ball game. Comfortable place to watch a ball game and have a 'huge' plate of nachos. The owner (Steve) is a great guy and his wife is going to have a baby on the 22nd.
