gone way down hill. This used to be one of our favorite places for Sunday Bloody Marys and very cold beer. The beer is now lukewarm and the bartenders are subpar. WHERE ARE THE BARTENDERS WHO KNOW HOW TO MAKE A DRINK!!! We will not be back.
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. This gritty, funky and eternally quasi-Irish French Quarter bar offers a full drink menu with five taps. Bar food also served.
My Favorite. Each visit I make to New Orleans MUST include a stop at Molly's! I have taken many friends over the years there. In fact, my ex-husband stills raves over the place. Seems he agrees that our favorite part of each day of our honeymoon was our daily visit to Molly's. A couple of year's ago on a visit to N.O. I even ran into him there - we both still live in Illinois. It's worth at least one stop there during any visit to the Greater New Orleans area.
Where The Locals Hang Out. We visit Molly's each time we're in New Orleans. Although they have diverse crowd, the atmosphere and the local patrons make you feel welcomed. It's a Great Place to be if you want out of the Bourbon St. crowd. We highly recommend Molly's if you've never been.
No Room to Move Karaoke Bar. "The place is far too crowded with Underaged, Spring Breakers. If you want to re-live your youth, then this is the place for you. Good luck getting a chance to sing...more fun to drink outside on the street and watch the idiots sing from the window."
Relaxed and Friendly. I've visted New Orleans several times now and keep coming back to this bar. I've always felt welcome and can be sure of a good conversation with the locals and a chance to find out what is happening in the real New Orleans. Very relaxed and a welcome change from the Bourbon St tourist traps.
home sweet home. Best bar in New Orleans. Best place to have a good drink and great talk. You can always count on having a good time. Bartenders usually remember your drink, no matter how long it's been since you've been in. You can always meet someone new and interesting. A community bar that caters to both old timers and hipsters.
