Terrible Service. This is the worste dinning experience I have had in New Orleans. They were out of half of their menu and did not tell us they were out of white chicken meat until it was time to come to the table. We ordered angle hair and got fettucini. They did not know the price of the wine that was on display. It took so long to get food we finished a bottle of wine. At this point we asked to deliver to our condo 2 blocks away. After delivery average at best. I even called back to talk to general manager and was hung up on.…
My Jaw Dropped.
The Fried Chicken really is terrific... however, our first order of chicken was raw (not undercooked) but actually raw in the center. The waitress graciously apologized and quickly took the chicken
baskets (we ordered it with fries) away.
And then "it" happened. The waitress returned with the SAME chicken -- now double fried, and the SAME fries. She actually served us old fries that had now been sitting out cold for 20 minutes. As someone intimately familiar with health code violations that chicken should have been instantly discarded and we should have been served a new dish in its entirety.…
Used to be a favorite but the horrible service will stop me from returning.. I love this restaurant and was very happy that it opened back up. but to my dismay yesterday I brought some out of town friends in to have lunch and it was a joke. We were there for over 3 hours. I honestly have never had more terrible service. Two tables of people walked out because they were never waited on. It is a small place there is really no excuse. I would wait on the food but not an hour for a drink or for a waiter to even greet me. Then the horrible waitress had the audacity to add %18 gratuity to our bill when it said NO where on the menu that that was policy. I am a local and once they found out they were so apologetic but they lost my business.…
Open for business again. Had dinner at Fiorella's last night (Thanksgiving) - food was average at best [turkey dinner], service was slow [understandable on Thanksgiving Day]. But you can't beat the prime French Quarter location and atmosphere on Decatur St. Will try again and order their more usual fare to see if the quality improves.…
Closed for Business. Just got back from a trip to New Orleans and discovered while there--6/7-6/9/08-- that Fiorella's is no longer open for business.
