Although I have yet to visit the Quarter since Katrina, I did live there for a short while a few summers ago just 2 blocks from the Verti Marte. Let me be ther first to say that this small hole in the wall stop is the first place that I will ever visit wneh I travel to the Quarter again. The food, amazing. A great variety of spectacular taste for a reasonable price. And the staff, forget about it. If you become a frequent, they get to know you by name. Inexpensive, friendly, and convenient. The French Quarter's best kept secret. Had I not lived so close, I would have never known, but trust me, the Verti Marte is my FIRST stop the next time i am in New Orleans!

IT MAY NOT LOOK LIKE IT FROM OUTSIDE OR INSIDE... BUT THE VERTI MARTE HAS SOME OF THE BEST FOOD.... PRICES ARE FANTASTIC AND THE PORTIONS ARE UNBELIEVEABLE... NO PLACE TO SIT BUT FOOD MAKES UP FOR THAT
