Randy cut my hair and was great. I was running up and down 6th street for 10 minutes until I went into the GNC and they told me Elevations moved next to rue de la Course. (Near Funky Monkey) Change the address for this site PLEASE! Don't make Randy wait for you because the address hasn't been updated. He deserves better!!!!

I have used Heidi - the owner - for several years and never had a bad experience. Pluses: great color; good haircuts; wonderful styling. I have recommended her to out-of-town friends and every time they visit they schedule an appointment.

I went to see Randy at Elevations for a hair cut and partial highlight upon recommendation from a friend. My haircut is fine, but the color is horrible. On the phone, he quoted that putting a few (six, to be exact) foils in my hair would cost $20, plus $35 for the haircut. He charged me $100. I have naturally almost-black hair, and wanted dark brown highlights. Randy bleached my hair and was apparently unable to dye the bleached portion of my hair a darker color. Basically, he rinsed toner into my hair and rinsed it out immediately. Even I know that's not how you're supposed to color hair. In addition to having bleach blond highlights in my dark hair, the highlights are very chunky in some places, while thin in others. Block highlights were popular in the '90's, but I wanted something subtle and natural-looking. I went back to have him fix it, which he was unable/unwilling to do. I asked for a refund so that I could get corrective color at another salon, and he refused to give me a refund. He told me buy haircolor at the drugstore and do it myself! Do not go to this salon.
- Cons: Lacks adequate lighting for haircolor services, bad value, bad attitude.
