Stay Away.
Bartender, gentleman with bald head and glasses; is by far, the most abrasive and unpleasant person I have ever encountered. If you have any expectation to be treated with respect, this place is not for you.

Good local spot at the right time.
Fat Harry's definitely appeals to the frat crowd, but if you go there early you can watch a game and eat some decent bar food before heading to another locale nearby.

Good-vibe bar conducive to the time-honored pastime of drinking and checking out the opposite sex..
In Short
During the academic year, the bar is largely the domain of frat boys and students. The scene is pretty basic: a bar, booths, a jukebox and a relatively wide expanse in which to rub shoulders with other patrons. Early in the day, it's a relaxing spot to hang out, eat pub grub and watch traffic whiz by on historic St. Charles Avenue. By 10pm, the place decidedly morphs into a crowded party zone.

the hangout.
Get the cheese fries! A good place to hit up anytime. Great mix of people and good college crowd. Stay away during mardi gras though, this bar is so small and always overly crowded during this time.

Mardi Gras hang.
Right along most parade routes running down St. Charles (at Napoleon). A popular college bar way when, still worth hanging out for a game of pool. If you go in, order the wings and a "mixed" cheese fries.
