Tips for Franky & Johnny's Restaurant

Like meeting in grandma's comfy kitchen. Franky & Johnny's is a charmingly atmospheric neighborhood joint, a magnet for genial, salt-of-the-earth blue-collar types and fans of crisp, batter-fried perfection and sizable seafood and New Orleans staples. The red-and-white-checkerboard tablecloths lend a down-home, Mom's kitchen touch to the relaxing surroundings, while the long wooden bar offers a wealth of chatty opportunities. Everything's good here; any of the sandwiches are excellent, and fare from pork chops to hamburger steak and fried chicken is satisfying and plentiful. A great place for lunch meetings or just hanging out.
