Horrible place. My Fiance and I went in for a drink to meet some friends. I went ahead and used the bathroom. The hairy, tattooed, scary man behind the bar followed me into the bathroom, yelling that I could not use the bathroom without first buying a drink. I told him several times that my fiance was at the bar ordering. That was not good enough, he grabbed my arm and escorted me out and called the police, Little did he know my brother is a state police officer, so they did nothing to me. I would recommend to never go here, especially if you need to use the bathroom, I didnt know it was ok to treat women in this manner, no wonder Bourbon get such a bad rap!

Nice!. Fun atmosphere...Nice music playing (kind of loud, but not too annoying). I ordered the catfish poyboy with the steak fries and it was good! There was only one waitress working that night, but we still received pretty good service.

YUM-O. Well, if you're the nervous type you're going to want to get over it once you walk in the door then sit down and order some food! The service can be a little slow, but this is an excellent place to have good food with friends and have a few while you're waiting for your food to arrive. My husband and I tried it on the suggestion of a bartender at the hotel we were staying in and I think we went back every day of our trip (and the next one) except for 1. The breakfasts are awesome, as are the lunches and dinners. You get a lot of food for the price of the meal. It's so good you'll want to clean your plate, although I doubt you can.

A Place Worth Visiting. Great food, great staff! I never go to New Orleans without going to this place. I absolutely love their fried catfish!!!

Lots of time on your hands?. Breakfast was excellent. This is not the place to go if you are in a hurry. The food was so good we came back the next day for breakfast, sat for ten minutes, never received menus or even an acknowlegement from any of the staff. We finally left and went elsewhere.

LOCAL FUN!. This is a seedy, local hangout where the bartenders are like old friends. The food is cheap and good!
