been there several times and i cant believe the portion size this place has for the prices!! unbelievable how this place makes money. however, i must have the best luck because i frequent this restaurant at least once a week for the past 2 years and have not had a bad experience with the staff yet. be prepared to wait but trust me once you get your table it is well worth it!
Pros: reasonable prices, large amounts of food and friendly atmosphere
Cons: they dont take reservations

When we first moved to the city this was the only seafood place that we got a whopping amount of food for very inexpensive. Not a pretentious place, but not the greatest service. However, the food is great and we visit it once a week. It was one of the first places to open after Hurricane Katrina.
Pros: parking, inexpensive
Cons: crowded
