A Gem In Kenner. I arrived on a Thursday night and had a seat at the bar. Dean, the bartender was very good and really entertaining. I ordered the Veal Sorrentino and it was great. I don't know who their chef is, but they really got it down. Never had any problem with the service and everybody that works there seems to be very enthusiastic. Their fresh baked bread is so good that you could make a meal out of it.

Great food and service. Will definitely go back.. We went to this place on a Friday night. We had a 10 minute wait so we sat at the bar. Dean the bartender was very entertaining. They called us to our table and the server was very quick and knowledgeable (it was our first time eating there). The bread they served before the meal was fantastic! The server, Randy told us to order the Greek salad and a cup of Minestrone soup for starters. That was a great choice. Then he suggested the Pasta Jambalya and the Bourbon Filet. All I can say is WOW! The filet was so much better than Ruth Chris'. I will be back to try the other filets! We split a caramel flan for dessert. Very yummy.

I would like to recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We will never go there again!. We just went here for the first time with our 3 children and 10 other family members for my sister's birthday. We had never been but she wanted to try it. Our server didn't explain anything to us and as she asked each person what they wanted she would ask what kind of salad everyone wanted with their meal. SHe also would ask what kind of tea you wanted when ordering your drinks. And last but not least she proceeded to tell us what was one the kid's menu such as pizza. Well, then she disappeared, we had to go find her to get anything such as refills and when we needed the bill we had to find her also. That's when we found out that our salads were not part of the meals, the iced teas that were flavored were $5 each and the kids meal of a pizza was the regular menu pizza. She also had the nerve to tell us that if we wanted to leave more than the already included 18% gratuity we would be more than welcome to. Our bill for me, my husband and my 3 kids (two of them are only 3 and 1) was $135. That's without any wine or dessert or anything. My two little ones meals were $25! We had to get the manager, who then proceeded to tell us that we had their best server. Well, she did sooo well with us, we will never go there again! Also, under Price it has only $. I would make it $$$!

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Family-friendly bistro serves traditional Italian cuisine, including spaghetti, lasagna and veal parmesan in the suburbs.

Quality and Quantity. Superb veal dishes, obviously using the freshest ingredients. Excellent service that is attentive but not irritating.
