Best in My Life. I grew up eating 2 hickory burgers and a chili cheese, chocolate shake, and peach pie. Life was grand then. Now, too few Bud's and life is much more complicated. I am telling you that this IS THE VERY BEST OF NEW ORLEANS. Decadence! I wish my waist line and heart could sustain the indulgences of my youth today.

Great place for a burger and beer. Everytime I visit New Orleans I make it a point to eat at Buds. Great burger, fries and a beer. It does take a little while to get your order but it is worth the wait, and the price is not bad.

Bud's Broiler has the Best Burger. The hamburgers & hotdogs are so full of flavor you hate to get to the last bite.

100% Local and just barley OK. The locals around here really like Bud's. All I can figure out is that is some kinda nostalgic thing. The hamburger meat is flat and tastes cheap. If you get a hot dog they cut in half and put it on a hamburger bun. I would not recommend eating here unless it is 2AM and you are really desperate.

good rings. The burgers aren't bad, especially since you can get a beer with them. Try the onion rings.

Special Sauce. The Hickory smoke sauce is where its at. Get it on everything. The fries, burgers, dogs, chicken....

Not much else though, burgers are average quality as far as meat goes. Freshly grated cheddar helps. If i knew the secret recipe to the special sauce i'd probably never go.

Hey Bud!. The catagory is Best Burgers in New Orleans, and the answer is Bud's Broiler. Sure it's a chain, but it's a local one with a far, far better product than the stuff churned out at McDonalds, Wendy's and Burger King.

Don't forget to finish off your meal with a fried peach pie! They're messy (lots of powdered sugar) but delicious.

You're Kidding Right. To include Bud's Broiler in the top 10 hamburger joints around New Orleans is a JOKE! No disrespect to the restaurant. . . .it is what it is . . . a slow way to get fast food that has only a somewhat distinctive taste (sometimes dryed out). There are at least 50 restaurants that have far superior burgers.
