very professional. Mellow setting, soothing colors and sounds. I have had a package there in which I received a facial, mani and pedi and 60 minute massage. I enjoyed it all. Everyone is very nice and attentive.

I've been going to the spa over 3 yrs now..i had stop for awhile from being out of town.iIwas there this past weekend.i was shocked that SPA MANHATTAN was still open. They are now in that new location called FOUNTAIN PARK.Very nice location and it made me feel like i was at a resort. Due to all the rumors I heard about the spa closing and rude customer services I had to test it out for myself. I would have to say RUMORS ARE ALL LIES..from the time walking in to the spa I was greeted with so much respect and enthusiasm. I was asked for beverages and candy..I would of took some wine but was told I couldn't because I was about to go into my massage! The services were GREAT! I enjoyed every moment of it..to the comment below MTAYLOR.. Robes are requested due to the fact not everyone is that comfortable to be told to change into a robe while waiting in the lobby with other (esp. male)clients..from my opinion that should not be one of the reason why you should stop patronizing the business..its great and even though I was told that it was owned by a new owner they accommodated my gift card. I was extremely excited,even though I knew that being under new owner by law they didn't have to honor them .Over all I will continue going back to SPA MANHATTAN and I think everyone should know that THEY ARE STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS..…
very dissapointed. I was so excited to go have a day at the spa. When I arrived for my 11am appointment, I was sent to the waiting area where I set for 30 minutes until someone asked me what I was waiting for...turns out my first service wasn't scheduled til 11:45am. Meanwhile, as I'm waiting, it's freezing in the waiting area. This is the area where you wait before and between services. It was not very peaceful and it was FREEZING!! Not very relaxing when I paid for a relaxing day at the spa. I had to change clothes between each service. At other spas, you usually change into a robe and where your robe all day. They should try to serve tea or something in the waiting area, turn the lights down, and have some candles. And give people some robes for god sake. The services were good...but the overall experience was very dissapointing. Then, they charged our credit card twice and took 5 weeks to correct. And where were all the snacks and wine they said they were going to have when I made my appointment? :|…
SPA MANHATTAN IS THE BEST. I RECENTLY VISTED THIER NEW AND IMPROVED LOCATION. AND I MUST SAY IT WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS. ONE OF THE COUPLES MASSAGE ROOMS IS BREATHTAKING, IT HAS A HYDROTHERAPHY HOT TUB. I WILL DEFINATLY VISIT AGAIN FOR THAT SERVICE.... CUSTOMER SERIVCE IS TOP NOCTH! ME AND MY DAUGHTER HAD THE PLEASURE OF VISITING THERE AWESOME HAIRSTLYIST'S "JENN & JESSICA" THEY WERE GREAT CORRECTING MY DAUGHTER ATTEMPT AT SELF COLORING. I'VE ALREADY BOOK OUR NEXT APPOINTMENT. EVERYONE SOULD GO SEE SPA MANHATTAN'S NEW LOCATION IN FOUNTAIN PARK ON THE WESTBANK! IM GLAD THEY MOVED FROM THERE OLD LOCATION. SUCH A STEP UP!!!!…
Highest quality spa in new orleans. Hi, I don't usually respond to these blogs, but I happened to read the negative responses posted and could not stand idly by and allow this nonsense to continue. I have been a loyal customer of Spa Manhattan for many years and have referred several friends and family members. I have had nothing but superior quality services. I have had everything from hair, nails, body wraps, facials, massages and waxing. I have complete confidence in the staff here and am complimented immensely on my appearance whenever i receive a service from Spa Manhattan. I have seen "picky" customers at this spa. I have also seen the staff and owner bend over backwards to try and please these customers to no avail. Whoever posted the earlier comments is obviously one of these customers and is just the type that cannot be satisfied no matter what is offered to appease them. Trust me, this is no fault of Spa Manhattan. Obviously, the services, in particular the eyebrow waxes that is being critisized, could not have been as dramatically unprofessional as this customer is complaining of. Otherwise, why on earth would you go back 4 more times to the same spa? Sounds like this is more of a personal grudge instead of a legitimate business dispute. I've experienced first hand the professionalism of all the employees and owner of Spa Manhattan and know that there is no need that is gone unfulfilled or any complaint that is not completely satisfied. Again, every service Spa Manhattan offers is delivered with kindness and professionalism Its what sets them apart from other spas in this area. I will definitely continue to refer people to them and will follow them to their much anticipated move to Fountain Park.…
