BEST RESTAURANT IN NEW ORLEANS!!. Day in and day out, the most consistently good restaurant in New Orleans. Their failed attempt at franchising survives only at the branch on St. Charles Ave, which I don't think is as good as the mother house in Metairie. The Northshore and Baton Rouge locations went kaput. I never get the Italian standards but opt for the wild and wonderful gourmet, Creole creations.

Bring an attractive date so Vincent can ogle her! He loves to do this.

Great Italian Food, nice romantic atmosphere. Vincent's is a cozy little restaurant located right off W. Esplanade. The staff are attentive and the food is very good. I especially like their lasagna and corn and crab bisque. I much prefer their "Italian" dishes rather than their seafood dishes but hence the name that should come as no shock. His prices are moderate but the food and atmosphere make up for it. Reservations of the weekend evenings is a must. Many times we've drove up to go eat and the wait for a table was 40+ minutes. Unfortunately, we haven't been in a long time but would love to return (if I can remember to make a reservation!)

Extremly Romantic. The atmosphere is top notch. This is not a night out with the kids, this is a special evening with your special someone. Candlelit and very romantic. The food is top notch no matter what you order, and the service is great. Make reservations, especially on a weekend night.

Vincent's = Excellente. Vincent's is hidden away on Chastant St. providing a romantic getaway. The small dimly lit restaurant caters to couples or small groups. Specialties include Corn and Crab Bisque served in a bread bowl, Canneloni, and many more. Pricing is moderate, but you will not be disappointed.

The bisque is to die for. Living in Covington, the only time I was able to eat at Vincent's was when I was on the South Shore. Now that they opened up one on this side of the lake, eating there has become a weekly routine. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent.

Highly recommended
